MYSTERY PLANE: KAWASAKI'S FIRST FIGHTER
CORRECTION:
Oops! made an error in identifying the single-seat fighter in above file photo. It isn't a Ki-10 (Perry) after all but a KDA-5 Type 92, Model 1 single-seat fighter, it does resemble the later Ki-10 and it even had me fooled, I had a photo of it in my files, I just had to find it and correct my comment...
Aircraft could be one of five KDA-5 prototypes a/c
entered production in 1932 with the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force with over 300 built. Armed w/2 x 7.7mm machine guns, saw service with the army in Manchuria also served with the puppet Manchukuo Air Force, by 1941 it was used as a fighter-trainer.

OLDIES BUT GOODIES:
Japanese Navy Mitsubishi B2M1 on display a/c shows no naval unit markings, only a red tail w/standard Red Sun markings on its fuselage and wings.
Fighter on display is a Japanese Army Kawasaki Ki-10 (Perry) the Perry was the Army's last biplane fighter. Red Sun markings are on wings only. The Ki-10 fighter was armed w/2 x 7.7mm machine guns w/400 rounds per gun. Marking on tail for Koku Shikan Gakko (Army Air Academy) white circle w/red marking...
