OOPS! NOT ON THE SHORT LIST
Surviving aircraft surrendered in Japan were scrapped. A few different types of aircraft were shipped back to the United States for test and evaluation, the Ki-51 "Sonia" was not among those tested.
Wanted to clear this up should have mentioned this in earlier comment...time to call it a day, until next time.

At wars end surviving aircraft surrendered in Japan were later scrapped, a few were shipped back to the USA for test and evaluation.
The Japanese abandoned over 1,000 aircraft throughout Southeast Asia, did you know that many these aircraft were operated into the early 1950s.
