CAPTURED!
These J2M3 Raidens once belonged to the 381st Kokutai
Aircraft were captured by British forces.
FOR THE CAMERA:
Aircraft were made airworthy by Japanese ground crews, and flown by Japanese Naval Pilots working under Allied supervision early 1946.
Flown for the press and VIP's, I don't know if any testing was done, aircraft were flown out of the former Japanese Naval airfield at Tebrau, Malaya.
