TERRY AND THE PIRATES:
A BABY BOOMER REMEMBERS
As a kid I used to read the adventures of Terry and the Pirates. Stories about adventure, shady
Western and Chinese characters trying to out wit each other, along with a host of other villains.
My favorite character was the Dragon Lady who was an adversary and later ally to Terry taking place before, during and after WWII...
TALES OF THE GOLD MONKEY 1982/83
This was another adventure series that was some what based on Terry and the Pirates, it had many of the same characters, and was set in the South Pacific in 1938, instead of China.
The Chinese Dragon Lady was replaced with a Japanese Princess named Koji, Nazi spies and the usual list shady characters...
