ww2dbase10.5 cm leichte Feldhaubitze 16 field howitzers, designed by the arms manufacturer Krupp, were first introduced into the Germany military in 1916. At the end of WW1, a number of them were given to Belgium as reparations. When Belgium was conquered by Germany in WW2, those surviving examples that were taken back into German service were redesignated 10.5 cm leFH 327 (b).Source: Wikipedia ww2dbase
