- Japanese troops captured Huangpo, Anhui, China and began to march toward the northern border of Wuhan, Hubei, China. In the same province, elements of the Japanese 2nd Army Group captured the city of Ma. ww2dbase [Battle of Wuhan | Huangpo, Anhui | CPC]
